Sunday School
Sunday School and Bible Class are for children and young people aged 3 to 16.
We meet every Sunday in the Large Hall from 2 September 2007 through to 25 May 2008 from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
All teachers have completed the Church of Scotland Child Protection Training and many have also been passed through the Disclosure Scotland process. All have many years' experience in working with children and young people.
Each week the different Departments follow through an age appropriate teaching programme taught in a fun way, but always based on Scripture.
The Beginners (pre-school) and the Primary (P1, 2 and 3) listen to a story from the Bible and then either take part in a drama sketch, complete a work sheet or make a craft, relating to that story.
The Juniors (P4, 5 and 6) go into a bit more depth about who Jesus is and his time here on earth. They learn to look up the passages in the Bible and are given help to answer any questions they may wish to explore.
The Bible Class (P7 +) takes a completely different approach and look at life issues facing youngsters today. They explore them within the context of Jesus' teaching.
